The Globe & Mail
In October of 2010, The Globe and Mail launched an extensive re-design project, that started with a billion-dollar investment in new presses, and ended with a full-colour, re-vamped daily print product. The "gem" of the re-design was the creation of a 24-page weekly style magazine, printed on semi-gloss white paper.
I was hired to art direct and design this new section, and continue to art direct the weekly product. This includes everything from conceptualizing, organizing and directing fashion and product photo shoots to laying out the pages on a weekly basis. For every tearsheet below I created a photo brief, hired photographers, stylists and models and directed on set. I also laid out the pages.
Please check back as I add new tear sheets along the way!
